Michigan Here We Come!!

June 8th, 2006 / Comments / by Brian

The day is finally here! We’re flying to Michigan for my second cousin Kyle’s high school graduation. I dropped Khaki off at Missi & Jami’s last night, and Brian & Jeff are picking us up in a few hours to get us to the airport. Our flight leaves at 1:45, and we return Sunday evening. I’m so excited about seeing everybody–it’s been a few years since I’ve seen my cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. I’m so excited! (oops, I may have mentioned that already!) I’m just sure I’m going to forget something though….

Here’s a short little video from back in April I took of Khaki playing with Keith’s foot while he was on the phone… I think we were trying to figure out how much CORA was going to be (yeah, that far back — and we’re still waiting to find out!)……..

Stop the So-Called Marriage Protection Amendment – AGAIN

June 5th, 2006 / Comments / by Brian

Anti-gay groups are reigniting the battle in the Senate over the so-called Marriage Protection Amendment. President Bush bowed from pressure from these groups on June 5th when he stood in the White House and encouraged the Senate to write discrmination into the Constitution.

The Senate’s right-wing leadership has scheduled a vote on the discriminatory FMA this week — and I know you want to stop them as much as I do.

The Human Rights Campaign is asking fair-minded Americans everywhere to speak out against this blatant attempt to restrict the rights and liberties of GLBT Americans.

Take action today to let your Senators know that you oppose any attempts to use Congress and the Constitution to harm same-sex couples and their children. Click here to take action now:
