Fence – FINALLY FINISHED

This post is a little late…  lol  as is the completion of this project.  But since I had to download months worth of pictures when I plugged the camera into my computer in order to get pics of the Christmas tree, I figured I might as well catch up on my blog…

So the fence-staining project we started in July was finally completed early November.  4 months…  Dang, that’s pathetic!  What took so long?  Well we started out spraying the stain – that way we would have finished it in no time.  But it was splattering as much (expensive!) stain on the ground as it was on the fence…  So we did most of it BY HAND with a brush.  YEAH.  Talk about a PITA…  We also replaced a several boards that were warped or rotten or whatever.

    nice work brian. that is what my hubby and i will be working on next summer. our fence is 10 years old and fallin apart. i don't think the previous owners did a good of maintaining it.
