Ah, the Joys…
Just a quick post. Yesterday morning I couldn’t get the garage door open. Yeah, I tried the manual release, I’m not THAT bad. ;-) Anyway, it turns out the spring is broken. Once I released it, it took Keith and I both lifting it to get the door open…
Yay, just what I wanted – something else to throw money at!! :)
My first paycheck will only be for one day on 8/1, so moneys’ tight right now. Looks like we’ll be parking in the driveway for a couple weeks ’till my first full paycheck…

We just had a broken garage door too, but outs was the metal thingy-ma-jig (I\’m not a DIYer). Fortunately a friend was able to fix it since the landlord decided it could wait several weeks.
I\’m ready to go back to work and I just dread that weird time schedule of having to wait forever before the first real paycheck. Especially since I\’m sure the babysitters won\’t have the same pay schedule.
