First a little background…
I’ve been wanting a redbud tree for our yard… But when we were shopping for a tree a month or so ago, I was shocked at how expensive they were! (the Bradford Pear we got was $30 — a redbud that was half as tall was $60!)
So Aunt Marcia (in Michigan) dug up a sapling she had growing in her yard and mailed it to me… It’s tiny – maybe 4-5″ tall. But I planted it in a pot and it’s finally coming to life! So I had to take a picture to share:
While I was out there I snapped a couple quick pictures of the oleander and petunias:
(Yeah I need to mow; didn’t get to it this weekend and planned on doing it tonight, but it’s raining…)
