The Kingdom
Last night we decided to take a break from reality, escape for a couple hours, and go see a movie. We’ve been too tight to go to the theater lately, so we went to the dollar theater. It was actually $1.50 each on Sunday nights (50 cent Tuesdays though!!), so it cost us a whopping $3.
So what did we go see? For our “escape from reality” we decided to go see The Kingdom:
Not exactly the “escape” I would have imagined, but it was an **excellent** movie just the same! It’s action-packed; you can’t help but love the characters early on; and it keeps you on the edge of your seat ’till the very end. I recommend it to anybody (I’m sure if we just saw it at the dollar theater, it’s probably due out on DVD soon!).
This movie reminded me of (and made me miss) Sleeper Cell, the Showtime show.
