update
I’m at the house right now, waiting on the carpet cleaners…. the apartment is 95% packed – we’ll be heading back and spending the night there shortly so we can finish packing and be ready for the movers tomorrow at 8am.
Pest control came out yesterday afternoon and treated inside and out.
I’ve sprayed some roundup on weeds in the yard… poor Samoa got some burrs in her hair the other night, so we’ll have to get rid of those pronto! ;-)
I just met one of my neighbors! It’s so cool having neighbors that actually talk to you and acknowledge you! She heard the dogs (ok Khaki) barking in the back yard and we started talking through the fence. At the apartment if you try to talk to somebody they think you’re up to something.
I just measured the cabinets so I can go buy some shelf liner…. sometime. Soon. :)
I’ve opened our new digital programmable thermostat and am about to read the instructions. Exciting reading! But I want to have a good idea what I’m doing when we tackle that project.
I know this is a boring post so I’ll bring it to an end. “talk” more soon….
