Learn a Foreign Language with Mango

I took French in high school — three years of it — and very few days have passed since I graduated where I didn’t wish I’d taken Spanish instead. I’ve been wanting to start learning Spanish, basic conversational stuff, things I could say in church without feeling guilty… ;-) But I’m a tightwad and don’t want to pay for any audio lessons or books or any of that junk.
To my delight I learned about this website called Mango the other day (thanks to Lifehacker). It’s currently in beta, so you may run across some quirks here and there, but it’s already a great tool!
I just finished the 1st lesson in Spanish and am sure I won’t remember much of it when I wake up tomorrow. lol But it’s free and I can go back and do it again and again, as many times as it takes. There are currently 103 lessons in Spanish!
And there’s more than just Spanish – they have French, German, Mandarin Chinese, Greek, Japanese, Pig Latin, Russian, Brazilian Portugese…. It’s freakin’ awesome!!!!
All you have to do is go to http://www.trymango.com and enter your email address – simple as that. You’re ready to log in and start learning! Check it out!!
