NY Pics: Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Top of the Rock

Here are some pictures from the Rockefeller Center (aka GE Building), Radio City Music Hall, and Top of the Rock.

We hadn’t planned on going to the Top of the Rock; we just accidentally found it on our way to St. Patrick’s Cathedral. I remember when the Today show broadcast from the top when it first opened, with the Rockettes… So we figured we’d check it out. I didn’t realize the Empire State Building is 102 stories tall; Top of the Rock was only about 70, which is not all that much taller than the building in downtown Dallas where I used to work.

Keith loves the show 30 Rock, so of course we had to get a picture of this. ;-)

Beautiful sunset!

Check out those little dots in Central Park!!

St. Patrick’s Cathedral from the Top of the Rock; I had to lean out to get this. It’s a good thing Keith didn’t see me or he would have flipped out!!
