NY Pics: Little Italy
We didn’t spend nearly as much time as we’d have liked to here… It was Sunday, about an hour before Tressa’s flight arrived that we wandered into Little Italy. We actually passed through the grungy/scary part of Chinatown first (it’s apparently trying to swallow Little Italy), so we jumped at the opportunity for a clean Italian restaurant with air conditioning – Sal’s was just what the doctor ordered! (an oasis with friendly staff in the middle of…) Afterwards we had some fresh canolis on Mulberry St.
A few more meals like that and I’d be as fat as this guy! ;-)
