Last Post for a Few Days (Friday)
This will more than likely be my last post for a while… We’ve been busy all week trying to get ready for our trip to New York, and now we’re down to the wire. So much still to do, and there’s this annoying thing called a job that’s in my way complicating things today. ;-)

I don’t think I’ve drawn attention to it in a long time, but Heather & Dan have pics of their bundle of joy (Jonah) daily, sometimes even more often! Check it out! It’s always fun to see his smiling face and beautiful blue eyes.
I still need to wash the dog’s blankets so they smell good when I take them over to Missi & Jami’s house tonight. I still need to run by Target (or, God forbid, the Evil Empire, aka Wal-Mart) to pick up a few things (luggage labels, Airborne, etc.). We got a good start on packing last night, but of course I never feel comfortable saying I’m “done” and/or “ready”. I’ve got a whole folder full of reservations, itineraries, and “stuff” I just want to have handy while we’re traveling. I’m so used to having a computer and internet – it’s going to be like losing my right arm to be without all that information at my fingertips any time I want it. We’re meeting up with one of my best friends from college (the “fun” time around, not the time I graduated
I *know* I’m going to forget something, but…. what can ya do? C’est la vie. ;-)
Our flight leaves at 10am tomorrow morning; Brian & Jeff are picking us up around 7:30 to head to the airport. I’m so EXCITED!
