NEW CAR!!
Ok, sorry for the late post, but it’s been a long day….. I’ll try to recap quickly:
I traded in my ’95 Saturn and got a little more for it at Toyota of Plano than CarMax had offered me, so I was happy. I bought the 2006 Toyota Corolla LE pictured below. It had 15,600 miles on it when I bought it, but I’ve been driving lots today (wink). (by the way, my Saturn had 203,666 when I traded it in. What a number, eh?!)
I LOVE the car! It’s so much better than my Saturn in so many ways I can’t even begin to tell you everything! Basically it’s nice having a car made in this century–all the little things everybody else takes for granted I’ve done without… Like a CD player, for instance. lol Now I’ve got a 6 disc changer!
As promised, here are the pictures:
I wanted to have Keith take a picture of me doing the “I love what you do for me… Toyota!” jump, but our camera is on the fritz right now. (Yeah, the brand new one I got in November.) So the dealer pics will have to do for now…
I rolled off the lot at 11:01, ran to the Toll Tag Store to update my info there, then home to update my insurance stuff online and to get my sunglasses and stuff, then was off to the hospital for my Remicade infusion. I was done there around 4ish, came home and of course Keith wanted to drive it. So we drove all over Dallas, Carrolton, and Richardson… lol By then I was exhausted (I’m usually tired after an infusion anyway, but I also had the come-down from my morning adrenaline rush) so I came home and took a nap. Keith woke me up as he was going to class (late), so I got up and around and drove up to Fry’s to buy a bluetooth headset.
So that’s been my day. I’m about to go watch Prison Break, then back to the regular grind tomorrow. :)
