American Idol Stuff
I can’t sleep tonight, so I’m still up…. Going back and forth between studying and wasting time. Three main reasons I can’t sleep: 1) worried about this final in the morning, 2) worried shitless about our insurance situation, and 3) I ate some chocolate earlier. What the heck, it’s finals – I deserve it.
So anyway, Keith had to work late the last two nights, so I watched American Idol Tues & Wed by myself. When K got home tonight I watched it again with him…. So it’s fresh on my mind. And I haven’t posted anything about it in a long time, even though I’m addicted and watch it weekly.
I can’t BELIEVE Chris Daughtry was in the bottom two!!! WTF?! Paris Bennett has GOT to go with her minnie mouse voice, she drives me nuts. And I hate to say it, but Kellie Pickler is turning me off too with her naieve/dumb-blond act. I really think it’s going to come down to Chris & Katharine. I don’t know…. Elliot and Taylor both have grown on me. But I’d go buy anything Chris put out as soon as it hit the shelves, I just love his voice!
Ok this is something that I think is so funny… Has anybody else that watches American Idol and has also seen Narnia made this connection:

I tried to look for info on Medicaid earlier tonight, but the Texas Medicaid website is full of dead links and I just got really irritated. I sent an email requesting info and will call one later this week if I don’t hear back from somebody. I still don’t know how long our current benefits will last–I can’t remember if it’s 30 days or if they end the last day of employment. Boy I’d really be up shit creek if that’s the case.
Back to studying….. be well.
