Pinewood Derby – 1987
Since it’s obvious that I’m not going to accomplish anything else tonight, despite the fact that I stayed home to get some homework done, when I could be several different places right now having fun… I’m going through old pics I have saved and ran across these. I’m still laughing, and thought I’d share them so you could have a good chuckle as well.
It’s been so long ago I don’t remember the details (holy CRAP, I just realized it was 19 years ago!!!!!!!), but believe it or not I have both these trophies still!! I won our local competition (Pack 182), and the regional one, Mt. Magazine Expo.
In this first pic you can barely see my head peeking over the back of the track. I think this was the local one–held in the cafeteria at Sequoyah Elementary.
Here are the winners from Pack 182. Unfortunately I don’t remember anybody’s name that’s in this picture (besides me, of course). 
Ok now don’t laugh at this one…. LOL This one was taken 5 months later, and I guess I’d put on some weight (imagine that) and went with the flat top look. These are the winners from our pack in the Mt. Magazine Expo.

OMG!! It’S MINI YOU!! LOL..SO damn cute bud!! I also did the Pinewood Derby when I was in Scouts and Weblos.. .Loved it..WOn a regional when i was like 10… good times.
