Newsflash: I’m going to be an uncle!
Ok I’ve waited until Jodie had time to tell a bunch of people first, but it’s been all I could do to keep my mouth shut! ;-) Today she gave me the go-ahead to say this:
Jodie is expecting!!
She’ll see the baby doc on Feb 22, but she thinks her due date will be sometime in September. Mom, er, “Grandma Long” is thrilled, of course! I was in shock for a while (my baby sister shouldn’t be having babies!) but am so excited now. (just for the record my “baby sister” is 27 years old; so don’t read that the wrong way)
I’ll keep ya posted as things progress!
Holy cow, I just looked for a recent picture of my sister and (aside from this one)I couldn’t find one! So I pulled this one off the wall and scanned it. This one was taken around 1998 by mom for her photography class.
