Yes! Oscar Nomination for Jake


I just heard that Jake Gyllenhaal received a nomination as best supporting actor in Brokeback Mountain. Of course Heath Ledger was nominated as best actor–but Keith and I were really irked that Jake was passed over for the Golden Globes. I sure hope they both get it!

I couldn’t find any links that have the nominations listed this early, but I did find this article I’m going to have to come back and read: Love Makes ‘Brokeback’ Oscar Favorite.

8:10am EDIT: Found the nominations: I counted EIGHT for Brokeback. YES!!

Hi Brian,

I was just revising your comments about Jack Nasty..!! Essentially that was what Jack was a sexual predictor! He should have moved on and left Ennis alone!!! He destroyed Ennis’s life and that’s the bottom line!
