Good times, good times…

Two of my friends, Kelly and Blake, have posted stuff on their blogs about old friends, old times, and all that jazz. Ironically I was having a similar conversation by email with my old friend Jeromy (aka “Spanky”)–who’s now all grown up and TEACHING, of all things! LOL I’ve gotta go visit and see this for myself one of these days. Anyway, I’ve really got the nostalgia thing going now. I’ll say it here again, even though I’ve commented basically the same thing on both Kelly’s & Blake’s blogs–but the short time I spent in Fayetteville has become the standard to which everything else in my life is compared. Not that I don’t have good people in my life now–I don’t mean that at all. But I sure as hell do miss the way things were back in Fayetteville. I guess because it was when I really came out, was true to myself for the first time, and lived life to the fullest. LOL Maybe a little too “full”, since I ended up losing my scholarships. Trust me, I’m kicking myself in the ass for that now. But it sure was fun….

By the way, if any of you guys from “back in the day” have any pics, I’d love to have a copy! All mine have gone missing after all the moves I made when I first got to Texas. Heck, you can even send them to me and I’ll scan them, then send the originals back to ya. :)

Unfortunately I’ve got to get back to the here and now. Work calls. :-(
